Our board-certified neuroscientists are specially-trained to treat kids with the most complex neurological conditions. Our team includes neurologists, neurosurgeons, clinical neuroscientists, neuroradiologists and a large support team.
The Neuroscience Institute is a partnership between several organizations – Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Semmes Murphey Neurologic and Spine Institute, University of Tennessee Health Science Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A partnership between Le Bonheur and , our brain tumor program, is one of the largest pediatric surgical programs in the country. Last year, our neurosurgeons performed 225 brain tumor surgeries.

Technology
We are one of a few pediatric hospitals that offer a wide range of neuroimaging tools in the diagnosis and treatment of children. Patients here have access to magnetoencephalography (MEG), intraoperative MRI (iMRI), functional MRI (fMRI), high density EEG, transcranial magnetic stimulation and biplane angiography with three dimensional imaging.
Our epilepsy center is accredited center, the highest level for pediatric patients.
